Death March is a song about one of The Philippines' darkest past wherein American and Filipino POWs are forced to walk 69.6 miles by the Japanese Army. It is said that around 18,000 Filipino soldiers and 650 American soldiers died during the duration of the so called "Bataan Death March". Japanese soldiers that are responsible for the Death March were persecuted with charges of War Crimes Against Humanity. The incident occured on April 9, 1942. This song is a tribute to all the soldiers that died and survived the Bataan Death March.
